My Favorite Bechdel Movies

What is the Bechdel Test? It’s a simple test which follows three criteria: (1) it has to have at least two women in it, who (2) talk to each other, about (3) something besides a man. You may think this is an easy thing to do but it’s actually not done often enough!

Anyway, I wanted to come up with a list of my favorite movies that pass the Bechdel test for you! I will be totally honest, I have not watched any new movies from 2018 and hardly any movies from 2017; however, I’ve heard there are some great movies that pass the Bechdel Test from the two years! I hope to get some time to watch them this coming summer, but for this list, I am only going to include movies I have seen and liked from the past 5 years with a few older ones that are must-see movies in my opinion. 🙂
