Black History Month

Today is the start of Black History Month and it is also No Politics Day. I just can’t abide by that second one. Sorry, not sorry.

The buffoon we have in office makes it almost impossible to stay away from politics, but more importantly on days like today, during months like this one. With 45’s track record I don’t trust him to make an ass of himself or just ignore the situation altogether. I will be pleasantly surprised if he finds some class today and recognizes the importance of today and these people who made such an impact on our country.

This month is meant to celebrate the achievements made by African Americans and their vital role in U.S. history.  So that is exactly what I’m going to do today. I am going to celebrate some of the black men and women who have changed the course of history and deserve to be recognized. I know there are so many more people that could and should be recognized and I’m sorry I don’t have a longer list. Please comment and I will make sure to add them!
