Welcome to another feature Friday!!! Today we are highlighting Erinsgobragh!!!
- What made you want to start blogging?
Becoming a mother and fighting chronic pain.
- What is your favorite book/movie of all time and why did it speak to you so much?
Oh gosh, I don’t have just one! I have many. I love the Harry Potter Books, I love Nora Roberts books, she’s how I discovered my love of Irish and Scottish culture!
- What did you want to do growing up and are you doing it now?
I wanted to be a marine biologist, I currently have my own health and fitness business.
- What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done and would you do it again?
Craziest?! Chose to be with Randy instead of my father. My dad hated Randy originally because he wasn’t rich or Jewish. One day he had enough of me being with him and told me to choose and if I choose Randy to get out. And so I left. Hell no, do I regret it.
- Do you consider yourself a feminist?
I consider myself an equalist! I believe in equal rights for every kind of person!
- Why or why not?
Because it’s not just women who are judged.
- What was the best phase of your life?
Right now! I am learning so much about myself through working this business and bettering myself and others! In my line of work, you learn that in order to help others you have to help and work on yourself first! I discovered that my entire life has been full of loss. I lost my childhood taking care of my divorced disabled parents. My self-love from verbal and emotional abuse. My health from anorexia. My Grammy from cancer. My Mom from cigarettes, Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, abusing her pain meds, and bulimia. My home from being disowned by my father. My career from a car accident that disabled me and left me with chronic pain in my neck, right arm, and back. Our home due to being young and stupid. My father from diabetes, everything from Randy losing his job. My Self from feeling like a failure as a mom. My Pop Pop from old age. After Pop Pop passed and I was pregnant with Owen I had had enough of letting life happen to me and being scared, so I took action and started my business. Because of this, I am able to finally gain things in my life and teach others to do the same for theirs!
- What was the worst phase of your life?
When we had to move into the in-laws for the 3rd time, because Randy lost his job and in turn, we lost EVERYTHING, and I mean our belongings fit into 2 bedrooms. I have never been so depressed and just hopeless before.
