Robin Williams

I recently came across a Robin Williams quote and it left me wanting more. I wanted more of his insight and wisdom. I wanted more of what he had to offer the world. I wanted to wait until today to post this in honor of him. ❤

The quote that started all of this was; “No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.”

This made me think of my ultimate goal of helping women with their postpartum struggles. If my words, insight, empathy, and encouragement can change the world for one woman I will feel like I’ve done my job. I will feel like I’ve left a positive impact on this world. This quote, in particular, reminded me that I am capable of making the world a better place. Each and every one of us is capable of making the world better.

So if you’re feeling like you need a little pick me up, or if you need some inspiration, or just some laughs read these great Robin Williams quotes I found. ❤

“You will have bad times, but they will always wake you up to the stuff you weren’t paying attention to.”

“Comedy is acting out optimism.”

“Good people end up in Hell because they can’t forgive themselves.”

“Never pick a fight with an ugly person, they’ve got nothing to lose.”

“You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.”

“Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love: these are what we stay alive for.”

“I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone.”

“I’m sorry, if you were right, I’d agree with you.”

“Do I perform sometimes in a manic style? Yes. Am I manic all the time? No. Do I get sad? Oh yeah. Does it hit me hard? Oh yeah.”

“Reality is just a crutch for people who can’t cope with drugs.”

And a few of my favorites:

“Please, don’t worry so much. Because in the end, none of us have very long on this Earth. Life is fleeting.”
