Well, I still hate cooking. But I’m working on enjoying it.
I’ve been good about meal planning and trying to make sure I make dinner every night. Two nights last week didn’t work out the way I had hoped; one night we got home too late to cook and one night the recipe didn’t turn out right so we ended up having nachos.
Then one night this week I was just so upset I had no more energy to cook or worry about anyone other than myself after the kids went to bed. (You can read about that struggle here.)
Other than that I am doing pretty good. And to be honest, I’m quite proud of myself for not throwing in the towel yet. But let’s not get too excited, it’s only been 2 weeks. Still plenty of time for me to fail. 🙂
